The Creighton Women’s Basketball and Volleyball programs have continued to find great success both on and off the court. The volleyball team captured their third consecutive BIG EAST regular-season and tournament titles after going a perfect 18-0 in regular-season conference play. The program made its second consecutive Sweet 16 appearance and advanced to the Elite Eight. Creighton Volleyball finished the year ranked a program-best ninth.

In an inaugural conference tournament appearance in 2016, the Women’s Basketball team advanced to the BIG EAST Conference Tournament championship game. This season, the Bluejays were picked as the favorite to win the BIG EAST Conference regular-season title and they look to make their 10th straight postseason appearance.

The Wayne and Eileen Ryan Athletic Center and D.J. Sokol Arena have been the home of great success for our women’s basketball and volleyball programs since 2009. The 78,134 square-foot facility seats 2,950 fans and houses coaches’ offices, locker rooms, the athletic ticket office, athletic training room, meeting rooms and luxury lounge for our student-athletes.

The Ryan Athletic Center Graphics Project is an essential step to improve the Ryan Athletic Center and highlight the history and success of our women’s programs. This project will consist of adding visual graphics illustrating the history and success of the Women’s Basketball and Volleyball programs, a trophy case to display the trophies, awards and recognitions that the programs have received during their decorated history, and an improved fan experience while also aiding tremendously when recruiting talented student-athletes to campus.

By contributing to the DJ Sokol Arena/Ryan Athletic Center’s graphics project, you are helping the Women’s Basketball and Volleyball programs continue to compete for BIG EAST and National titles. Major gifts of $25,000 or more are payable over a five year period and may qualify for naming recognition. All gifts are processed by the Creighton University Development Office (501c3) and are deductible from income tax to the amount fully allowable by law, which is generally 100%.
