A college degree in electrical engineering can help you get into a technical career in almost any industry
Most electrical engineering schools are in Europe
The Institute of Electronics Engineers is one of the most influential organizations for electronic engineers (It is located in Europe)
The lowest 10% of electrical engineers make less than $50,000 a year
The middle 80% makes $60,000 to $95,000 a year
The highest 10% makes over $115,000
In 2000, there were 288,000 electrical engineers making it the largest engineering branch
The number of job openings is expected to be in balance with amount of graduates
The projected growth is supposed to be in result of electronic demand
Danny: An electrical engineer appeals to me because it is a job that would require a lot of skill and I love having a challenge.
Ryan: Yes, I would appeal to this career, because it is a well paying job and you get to work with electronics. Also there is lots of problem solving.
