Finally, some helpful meds…The Harper government has already given CCD

less to complain about:

• Tamil Tigers outlawed• Voted NO on first UN Israel-bashing resolution• PM Harper’s visit to Afghanistan• Acted to strip citizenship from convicted terrorist• Cut off funding to Hamas PA• Judicial enquiry into Air-India massacre• End of infantile America-bashing – Softwood deal!

What remains to be done?• Fix the broken bureaucracy• Take religious & ethnic pressure groups out of

Foreign Affairs and RCMP• Normalize relations with Taiwan• Withdraw from One China Treaty• End funding of UNRWA (June 30 mandate

renewal)• Just vote NO! on all anti-Israel UN resolutions• Bring more democracy to UN

Where do we stand today?• No longing spooning out medicine that is killing

the patient• Canada has shown global leadership, and

others will follow• Leadership does not cost billions• Bureaucracy will work hard to derail ministers

and push political agendas• Vigilance, guidance, persistence• Think back to last year… what a great start!
