Dear Trojan Family,

The Office of Campus Activities and the Womens Student Assembly are very proud to

announce the Tenth Annual Remarkable Women Awards. These awards celebrate theaccomplishments and contributions of women faculty, staff, and students, both undergraduate

and graduate at USC.

In honor of the 10th anniversary, we have added a new category to these awards. Now 15

women will be recognized and honored for a variety of accomplishments in the categories of

faculty, staff, graduate students, undergraduate students and the new category, alumni andfriends. The selection committee will look at the achievements in the individual nominees

field, significant contributions to USC, commitment to students and womens issues,community involvement and professional and/or other types of recognition.

We welcome both self-nominations and nominations from faculty, staff, students and alumni.

Please complete the attached nomination form and return it to: Heather Larabee, Tutor

Campus Center 330, MC 3103 by Monday, January 30 at 5:00 pm. Nomination forms areavailable online at the Application Clearinghouse at www.usc.edu/ca

All the nominations will be reviewed by a selection committee. Each woman nominated and

her nominator is invited to attend an awards reception on Wednesday, March 7 at 5:30 pm in

the Tutor Campus Centers Forum, fourth floor room 450.

Please take this opportunity to recognize an outstanding woman at USC and let her know that

her accomplishments and contributions are making a difference.
