STEP ONE Build the back panel by placing the three 30” 1x4s side-by-side, add wood glue between where each board meets, and clamp each side of the boards with the two 12” clamps. Attach the boards together with six pocket screws using a Kreg jig. STEP TWO Take one of the 10½” 1x4 side pieces and one of the 28½1x4s for the top and attach them together with wood glue between where the boards meet and two nails. Tip: Predrilling holes for the nails and starting the nails in the holes will make the assembly process easier. STEP THREE Attach the bottom 28½1x4 to the side piece at the top of the 45 degree angle with wood glue between where the boards meet and two nails. STEP FOUR Attach the other side piece to the top and bottom 28½1x4 boards with wood glue between where the boards meet and four nails. STEP FIVE Line up the back panel with the backside of the front frame and attach with wood glue between where the boards meet and twelve nails along the outer edges. STEP SIX Measure and predrill holes for the four screw hooks and install them by hand. STEP SEVEN Finish your tea shelf with stain or paint, hang on your wall and enjoy! Tip: Different wall materials require different types of fasteners. Use fasteners suitable for your walls.
