Lake Baikalthe world's oldest lake, at 30 million years, and deepest, averaging 744.4 meters.Located in the south of the Russian region of Siberia, between Irkutsk  to the northwest and the Buryat Republic to the southeast, it is the most voluminous freshwater lake in the world, containing roughly 20% of the world's unfrozen surface fresh water.

Mamayev Kurgana dominant height overlooking the city of Volgograd (formerly Stalingrad) in Southern Russia. The name in Russian means "tumulus of Mamai".The original Mamayev Kurgan was a Tatar burial mound 102 meters high. The current formation is shows the Battle of Stalingrad (August 1942 to February 1943). The battle was a decisive Soviet victory of World War II and  the bloodiest battle in human history. At the time of its installation in 1967 the statue named ’The Motherland Calls’ formed the largest free-standing sculpture in the world.

The Valley of Geysers

The Valley of Geysers is one of the largest geyser fields in the world. It is located in Kamchatka in Kronotsky Reserve. Kronotsky State Biosphere Reserve is one of the oldest reserves in Russia established in 1934. The reserve covers an area more than 1 million hectares including 135,000 hectares of sea area of the eastern coast of Kamchatka.There are 12 active volcanoes (including Kronotsky volcano, height – 3,528 m), numerous thermal lakes, geysers and waterfalls on the territory of the reserve. 

The weathering pillars of Komi Republic 

The weathering pillars is a unique geological monument located on the plateau of Man’-Pupu-Ner in Troitsko-Pechorsky district of Komi Republic of Russia. The geological monument is the composition of seven pillars with the height of 30 to 42 meters. The pillars appeared as the result of ancient mountains erosion. There are numerous legends about the pillars among the local people. 

Mount Elbrus

an inactive volcano located in the western Caucasus mountain range, in Kabardino-Balkaria and Karachay-Cherkessia, Russia, near the border of Georgia. Mt. Elbrus's peak is the highest in the Caucasus, in Russia. While there are differing authorities on how the Caucasus are distributed between Europe and Asia, many sources agree that Elbrus is also the highest mountain in Europe. Mt. Elbrus stands at 5,642 meters the east summit is slightly lower at 5,621 metres

Petergof• a series of palaces and gardens located

in Saint Petersburg, laid out on the orders of Peter the Great. These Palaces and gardens are sometimes referred as the "Russian Versailles".

Saint Basil's Cathedral

is a Russian Orthodox church erected on Red Square in Moscow in 1555–61 on orders from Ivan the Terrible. It commemorates the capture of Kazan and Astrakhan.St. Basil's marks the geometric center of Moscow. It has been the hub of the city's growth since the 14th century and was the city's tallest building until the completion of the Ivan the Great Bell Tower in 1600.
