Ullu-Tau (4,207m), north face, new route. In June 2003 a teamo f Czech climbers Bohuslav Vlcek, Jan Skalik, and Ondra Vespalec climbed a new route on the 1,400-m eter high north face o f Ullu-Tau (4,207m ). Ullu-Tau is at the end o f Adyr-Su Valley in Central Kavkaz. The new route is on the right o f the north face through a snow couloir and snow -ice threshold. They began clim bing at 3 a.m. and were on top 14 hours later. They descended after a bivy the next day.
