Although IU School of Medicinehas nine campuses across Indiana,IUSMTerre Haute is the onlycampus that houses a RuralMedicine Program in the state ofIndiana.

The Rural Medicine Programsstudent body represents 34 of the92 Indiana counties and 18 collegesand universities.
50% of the Rural MedicinePrograms 2013 entering classreceived some form of academicscholarship.
Nearly 40% of IU School ofMedicine graduates enter primarycare fields.
The Rural Medicine Program has astrong focus in the primary carefields, but also encourages studentsto consider other medicalspecialties of need in ruralcommunities.
IU School of Medicine has morethan 60 clinical departments andspecialty divisions available tostudents.
Approximately half of Indianas physicians received all or some oftheir education at the IU School ofMedicine.
