Rudimental are a British electronic music quartet, signed to Asylum Records and independent label Black Butter. Years active- 2010 to Present
Who are they? The band consists of 4 key members; songwriters and producers
Piers Agget, Kesi Dryden, Amir Amor and DJ Locksmith (Leon Rolle).
They originate from Hackney, London in the United Kingdom. There genre of music is Drum/bass and liquid funk. In March 2011 they released their debut single "Deep in the
Valley" featuring MC Shantie. In June 2011 they released "Speeding" featuring Adiyam.

Awards:Rudimental were nominated for a Brit award in 2012 for their hit single, “Feel the Love”. They were also nominated for the MOBO award of the Barclays mercury prize for best album.
Discography ‘Home’ was the debut album for the band
Rudimental. It was released on 29 April 2013 via Warner
Music UK. The album includes the singles "Spoons",
"Feel the Love", "Not Giving In", "Waiting All Night" and "Right Here". The album cover features the Hackney Peace Carnival Mural.
The album received generally favourable reviews from music critics, scoring 73 at aggregator website Metacritic.
Why This Band? We preferred this up beat type of music compared
to our original choice of music. We liked the dominant ‘dancing’ feeling to the
song which we felt that we could really expand on through our video.
Even through it is a different genre of music compared to our old choice, it is not that much of a problem. This is because the lead singer on this song is a female, much like the female artists we have already researched.
This means that it will still fit in with our ‘Emilie and the Emeralds brand identity.
