R.T. Callahan is a family-owned business started by Richard Thomas Callahan in 1961. Working full-time during the day, at night he worked on producing dies in his garage in Warminster, PA. His goal was to get enough customers to open his own shop. That became a reality in 1961.

In 1965, Richard moved his business from the garage to a 1,800 sq. ft. former hosiery mill in Dublin, PA, hiring one full-time employee. His wife Verna did the books and also worked in the shop.

Son Tim, now CEO of R.T. Callahan, joined his father in 1976, but by 1978 the die business had diminished. Father, son, and now daughter Marie, started contract machining. Tim purchased the business in 1988, brought Marie into it, and in 2001 they moved to their present 10,000 sq. ft. facility. Tim and Marie continue their father’s tradition to help others, strive for perfection, work hard, be persistent, and be creative. Their business reflects these values as they work to do everything possible to fulfill the needs of their customers.
