Hugh Henderson Applicant Bloom Energy (Main Tier Contract 33393) Facility/Project AT&T, 94-03 Queens Blvd. Rego Park, NY 11374 Facility Description: A Bloom Energy Fuel Cell (FC) Model ES-5700 has been installed at the AT&T data center facility on Queens Blvd in Queens. The FC provides 200 kW of AC power to the facility via the grid paralell circuit from the unit. Metering System The power meter is Veris E51 series, which satisfies the ANSI C12.20 standard and is rated at .5% accuracy. The three CTs used are 6811-400-0.3 V 400A split core with a ±1% accuracy. The PowerDash monitoring system uses a DIGI cellular modem to record the Modbus readings and report them back to their website (www.powerdash.com ). CDH Energy automatically retrieves 15-minute kWh data from the website each night using the PowerDash API. The data retrieved for December 29, 2014 is shown on the graph on the next page. Verification Process We confirmed the settings for the Veris E51 device (CT size=400A, voltages=480, etc). We also compare the readings on the face of the E51 to the readings from the Acuvim power meter in the Bloom Energy Cabinet were consistent (see the table on next page). We also used our Handheld Fluke 39 Power Meter to independently verify the meter readings (current and power). The table on the next page lists the measured current and power. The data from the Veris E51, Acuvium, and Fluke 39 meters were all in good agreement (the difference of 2% for the Fluke 39 is good considering we were only on 1 conductor). The data flowing from the website were also consistent with the E51 power readings.

Facility Description:

A Bloom Energy Fuel Cell (FC) Model ES-5700 has been installed at the AT&T data center

grid paralell circuit from the unit.

Metering System
