Changing Faces thanks the Royal Society of Portrait Painters for its continuing support of our work
“When I was eleven, I had a horrible experience on a train. I was sitting next to my Mum and I could feel thepiercing glares of everyone around me. I couldn’t handle it so I pulled my coat over my head and left it there
the whole journey as I shed tears. My mother then decided that enough was enough and sought help.
Changing Faces offered me support from the age of eleven to 14. Sharing my feelings with one of their team and learning techniques to tackle the stares was immensely helpful. I don’t feel I’d be the person I am
today without their help.”
