Overview Registration Instructions: Register every boy and leader attending from your outpost using the attached 2017 Pow-Wow Registration Form.
MAIL COMPLETED POW-WOW REGISTRTION FORM AND REGISTRATION FEES TO DISTRICT OFFICE. (NOTE THAT CHECKS OR MO MUST BE MADE OUT TO: Southern Pacific District)
Forms below to be filled and brought with you to camp:
1. Camp-out Roster – the registrar will ask for this when you arrive. You need each person’s name and telephone number. The telephone number is especially important in case of accident.
2. Medical Treatment Permission Form - You should have an original form and one copy filled out for each person. The original forms should be kept by you in case of an accident. Provide one copy of each for the registrar.
3. Rifle (Fire Arm) Permission Form for Minors - You should have an original form and one copy filled out for each person. These forms should be signed by parent or guardian authorizing the boy to use the rifle range, archery the leader needs to provide forms before boy is allowed to use the rifle range or BB gun range and archery. Note: no boy will be allowed to use the rifle or archery if they are not signed by their parents or guardians under any circumstances.
4. Medical Health History Form - You should have an original form and a copy filled out for each person. The original forms should be kept by you in case of an accident. Provide one copy of each for the registrar.
5. Activity Registration – Complete all the activity forms which your outpost will be participating. These forms will improve the tempo of the activities.

CAMP RULES AND INFORMATION 1. Attendance at all assemblies and evening services is required of all campers. Outposts are to be on time.
Outposts are required to remain at the evening service until dismissal. 2. Registration will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. DO NOT ARRIVE EARLY. Note: Group must have all required
forms filled out and emergency medical for each boy attending. 3. Outposts who are not allowed by their church board/pastor to stay until Sunday must notify the camp
commander as soon as possible. There will be no reduction in camp fees but permission will be given to leave early and have their campsite inspected by staff before leaving.
4. Vehicles are only allowed in camp for the purpose of off-loading or loading camp gear.
a. All vehicles must be parked in the designated parking space. Permission to move vehicle from the
parking lot must be obtained from the safety officer. 5. Commanders shall work together in a spirit of cooperation, networking within the established system
of authority. 6. Local commanders will be responsible for making sure the church group attends a timely manner the morning
devotions. The Sectional Commander will be the responsible for Saturday morning devotions. 7. Fires are allowed only during the Campfire Service where there is a fire ring. No open fires will be tolerated
under any circumstances. 8. All stoves and lanterns must be propane only. Liquid stoves and lanterns are not allowed. 9. All outposts should bring extra tables and seating as there is a limited supply. Bring seats to the campfire
service. 10. All trash must be placed in trash containers or at the designated area. 11. Due to numerous safety violations, charcoal lighter fluid is not allowed in camp. Use Matchlight charcoal if
Ranger allows. (depending on weather and fire hazard level) 12. All outposts are required to have a site inspection by their sectional commander or divisional
commander before being allowed to leave camp on Sunday. 13. Female personnel will not be allowed to attend camps. Thank you for your cooperation. 14. Boys must be accompanied to the swimming pool and supervised while they are there by an adult. No
exceptions! 15. Proper dishwashing procedures is a must. Absolutely no dishwashing allowed at the restrooms, outdoor
sinks or water spigots or in streams. 16. All boys (by law) must have a parent’s written permission in order to shoot the 22 cal rifles. Use the form in
this packet. (one required per boy) 17. Outposts are encouraged to remain at the evening service in a quiet, prayerful attitude until boys have
returned from the altar call. 18. All boys who are injured or ill must be checked out by the Camp First Aid Officer.

19. Security and Safety Officer are there for a purpose. Please cooperate. An argumentative attitude or an unwillingness to cooperate will result in:

21. Fishing licenses required per the State Game & Fishing Rules. (where applicable) 22. No firearms are allowed. Staff will provide rifles at firing range. Any firearms brought into camp will be
confiscated and not be returned. (bb guns, rifles, paint guns, ect.)
23. Past Repeated Violations : a. Failure to properly put out campfire before leaving campsite for activities. b. Leaving boys unsupervised in campsite. c. Adults and boys not attending evening rallies. d. Using lighter fluid on fire. e. Leaving evening service before altar call. f. Improper disposal of ashes. g. Improper dishwashing procedures. h. Loud talking and horseplay after “lights out”.

Medical Treatment Authorizat ion and Consent Form The following form is designed for those situations where minors are unaccompanied by either parents or legal guardians. This “Medical Treatment Authorization and Consent Form” gives authority to a designated adult to arrange for medical care for a minor in the event of an emergency. This is extremely important, in that, medical care cannot be provided to a minor without approval by the parents or legal guardians, unless there is written consent authorizing an agent to give approval. Rifle (Fire Arm) Permission Form for Minors
CALIFORNIA PENAL CODE SECTION 12551:
S 12552: Furnishing Firearms to Minors under 18 without permission of parent. ----Every person who furnishes any firearm, air gun, or gas-operated gun, designed to fire a bullet, pellet, or metal projectile, to any minor under the age of 18 years, without the express or implied permission of the parent or legal guardian of the minor, is guilty of a misdemeanor.

PATROL FLAG GUIDELINES
OUTPOST THEME FLAG: Each outpost will make a theme flag. These flags can be made of any material that the outpost feels will best represent the theme. Must have outpost # and city, date (apply where, what, when). The flags must have some kind of Christian concept or scriptural message that ties in with the design. Fringes, tassels, 3D items may be attached to the flag or the staff.
• Flag Size: Size 3 x 5 ' (Allow for 2” over or under to receive maximum points.) Fringe around flag is not considered part of the 3 x 5' dimensions for the flag. Does not have to be square or rectangular, do not leave any part unpainted.
• Fringe: Fringe is optional. Fringe must not exceed three inches in length. Craftsmanship and quality of fringe will be considered.
• Flag Material: Flag is to be made of some type of cloth, vinyl or leather.
• Flag Pole: Pole does not exceed 7' in height. (5 points maximum) Quality of finish on pole (stain, varnish, paint etc.) Any additional details showing extra craftsmanship which adds to quality (tack work, carving, burning, etc.)
• Flag Pole Ornament: Ornament not to exceed 6” in height or diameter. Originality of design and quality.
• Identifies outpost: Is the outpost clearly identified (images, color, and wording representing the outpost?
• Overall Appearance: Judging time will be announced on the first evening service.
At least one picture card MUST be attached to the flagstaff showing
the boys working on the flag.
