TENSION 2 patt reps (16 sts) to 14 cm and 3 patt reps (12 rows) to 15 cm measured over main patt using 6.00mm (US J10) hook and 2 strands of yarn held together.

Change to 3.00mm (US C2) hook.Using one strand of yarn only, work second cuff as folls:Next row (RS): 1 ch (does NOT count as st), 1 dc into first dc, *2 dc into next ch sp, miss 1 dc, 3 dc into next ch sp, miss 1 dc, 2 dc into next ch sp, 1 dc into next dc, rep from * to end, turn. 89 [97] sts.Beg with row 1, work in cuff patt for 18 rows, ending with WS facing for next row.Fasten off.

MAKING UPPress.Join row-end edges of sections in cuff patt to form cuffs.

Lower and neck edgingWith RS facing, using 3.00mm (US C2) hook and one strand of yarn, attach yarn to top of one cuff seam, 1 ch (does NOT count as st), work 1 round of dc evenly around row-end edges of main patt section, ensuring number of dc worked is divisible by 5 and ending with ss to first dc, turn.Next round: 1 ch (does NOT count as st), *1 dc into next dc, dc2tog over next 2 dc, 1 dc into each of next 2 dc, rep from * to end, ss to first dc, turn.Next round: 1 ch (does NOT count as st), 1 dc into each dc to end, ss to first dc, turn.Rep last round once more. Fasten off.
