Sheep Achievement Night Award Lamb Producers-Routt County Raised – This award is for breeding sheep that were born and continuously raised and wintered in Routt County. This is not a class at fair, it is an award at Achievement Night in November. BRENNER FAMILY BREEDING SHEEP AWARD 1. The Brenner family Breeding Sheep Award offers premium money in the amount of $500 to 4-
H/FFA members who participate in Routt County Fair sheep breeding class Brenner Family Class - Ewe-Market Lamb (shown at the 2018 county fair).
2. Youth will be awarded based upon their placings in the Brenner Family Class - Ewe-Market Lamb, exhibitor interview, record book score and showmanship.
3. Ewe must be bred, wintered and cared for in Routt County by the 4-H member to be eligible for this award.
4. The premiums will be awarded at the Routt County 4-H Achievement Night in November. HOWARD & MAXINE ELLIOTT MEMORIAL SHEEP BREEDING AWARD 1. The Howard & Maxine Elliott Memorial Sheep Breeding Award offers $500 in premiums to
encourage youth participation in the Sheep Breeding project. 2. These funds are used to reward outstanding ewes, rams and flocks exhibited at the Routt County

SUNDAY, AUGUST 19 9am All livestock members are required to help break down the livestock barn. Meet at the
livestock barn at 9am and check in at the 4-H office. They will instruct you on what
needs to be done. At 11am, or when the 4-H superintendents say, the livestock pens
can be broken down in a very systematic order. Wait for instruction. When the barn is
all broken down and cleaned you can check out at the 4-H office.
9am Small Animal Barn – members with small animals need to be at the Small Animal Barn to help clean. All animals need to be removed by noon. If you have animals in the MPB and small animal barn, please communicate with your superintendents so they know when you will there to help clean and break down. 2pm Horse members can meet at the Lockhart Barn to help break down the pens and check
the Green Horse Stalls for cleanliness. All horse members must check out with a horse superintendent after you have cleaned your horse stall. This can take place any time during fair.

October 1 – the new 4-H year begins!! November 10 – Achievement Night at the SSHS December 31 – Re-Enrollment Deadline. All returning 4-H members must be re-enrolled by this date. After December 31 there will be a $30 late fee.
