ROULETTEGamblers have been playing roulette for hundreds of years, with the game we offer today first appearing in the 1700’s! Roulette is an extremely easy game to learn how to play which is why it has maintained it’s popularity for so long.

A standard roulette wheel is comprised of 38 non-numerically-sequential pockets that are colored black, red, or green. The pockets numbered 1-36 alternate between black and red while the 0 and 00 pockets are both green.

HOW TO PLAY ROULETTE

Unlike other table games, players may use their casino value chips or non-value roulette chips to place their bets. A roulette table is stocked with a variety of sets of chips each in a different color. This helps the dealer, and other players distinguish which player placed each bet. Roulette chips do not have denominations printed on them, instead, the value of the roulette chip is equal to the total amount of the player’s buy-in divided by the number of chips given to them by the dealer. When the player buys-in, the dealer will mark the denomination of the roulette chip with a lammer that is placed near the wheel head.

Play begins when players have made most of their bets by placing chips on the numbered layout. The dealer then spins the ball in the opposite direction of the spinning wheel.Bets may be placed until the dealer waves off, signaling that there is to be no fur ther betting. Once the ball settles in a pocket, the dealer marks the winning number on the layout and bets are paid accordingly (see reverse side for diagram.)

No bets may be placed or taken from the layout until the marker is removed from the winning number.

Roulette checks have no value at any other game, so it is important to cash them in before leaving.

HOUSE RULES

Players may only play one color of roulette chip at a time. The dealer will verify that all roulette chips are returned prior to distributing them to a new player or changing denomination. Side betting is strictly prohibited on the casino floor. All decisions made by the Floor Supervisor are final.
