About the Workshop:This is a 5 day workshop on Dynamics and Control of Rotorcra�. This workshop aims to give the par�cipants a broad overview of the field of dynamics and control of rotary wing aerial vehicles.

TEQIP cell at IIT Kanpur will arrange for and cover the expenses of accomm-oda�on and food during the workshop for all par�cipa�ng delegates from TEQIP ins�tutes. Double occupancy r o o m s w i l l b e p r o v i d e d t o a l l par�cipants. TEQIP cell at home ins�tute or the parent organiza�on of each delegate is expected to cover their travel
and other expenses. Delegates are requested to make their own travel arrangements to reach the workshop venue.
Who can a�end: Engineering faculty and students working in the area of control, robo�cs, aerospace, and personnel from industry and research organiza�ons are the targeted par�cipants. Minimum complexity helicopter model for real �me simula�on and control design (1-lecture), Introduc�on to frequency domain based system iden�fica�on for helicopters (1-lecture)
The Euler equa�ons for a rigid body and the dynamics of a helicopter (1 lecture), Introduc�on to smooth manifolds (2 lectures), The rota�onal rigid body equa�ons in a coordinate-free framework (1 lecture)
