About the Workshop: This is a 5 day workshop on Dynamics and Control of Rotorcra. This workshop aims to give the parcipants a broad overview of the field of dynamics and control of rotary wing aerial vehicles. Double occupancy rooms will be provided to all parcipants. TEQIP cell at home instute or the parent organizaon of each delegate is expected to cover their travel and other expenses. Delegates are requested to make their own travel arrangements to reach the workshop venue. Outline:Introduc�on to helicopter aerodynamics: hover and forward flight (2 lectures), Rotor blade dynamics: equa�on of mo�on for rigid blades (2 lectures), Helicopter trim (1 lecture), Rotor response to perturba�ons (1 lecture), Linear and non-linear flight dynamics models (1lecture) Fixed and variable pitch quadrotor dynamics (1 lectures), Linear and nonlinear control design (2 lectures)

Minimum complexity helicopter model for real �me simula�on and control design (1-lecture), Introduc�on to frequency domain based system iden�fica�on for helicopters (1-lecture)

The Euler equa�ons for a rigid body and the dynamics of a helicopter (1 lecture), Introduc�on to smooth manifolds (2 lectures), The rota�onal rigid body equa�ons in a coordinate-free framework (1 lecture)

Lyapunov stability and stabiliza�on (1 lecture), Lyapunov stability and stabiliza�on on a manifold (1 lecture), Tracking problems on a manifold (2 lectures)
