What are Presentations?

• A source tells, dramatizes or otherwise disseminates information to learners.

• Learners are often allowed to ask question during or afterwards.

• Presentations are an example of a Teacher-Centered Learning Strategy.

In the Classroom Presentations can take

many different forms, including:• Slide Shows• Overheads/Document

Cameras• Videos• Textbooks

ExamplesBiology – In order to teacher about cell structure, a teacher uses an overhead and overlays of cell parts.Wood Shop – A class watches a video on common shop safety rules, equipment, and hazards.
