1. Directs team in the safe operation of a simple rope mechanical advantage system, using operational commands

2. Directs the team so movement of the load is controlled and a reset is acomplished

3. Insures operating systems do not stress the system or anchors to the point of failure

4. Determines the mechanical advantage system required based on the load to be moved and the number of personnel to operate the system

5. Performs pre-use inspection of the systems

6. Monitors systems during operation and corrects unsafe conditions
