Brock Grain Systems was founded as Brock Manufacturing in 1957 to provide bulk feed and grain storage bins for the agricultural market. The business became a division of CTB, Inc. in 1976. CTB is a leading global designer, manufacturer and marketer of systems and solutions for the production of grain, poultry, pigs and eggs, as well as for various equestrian and industrial applications.

Over the years through both development and acquisition, Brock has expanded its product line to include new and innovative equipment and tools for its commercial customer base, including grain drying, handling and conditioning systems. For example, in 1997, CTB purchased the grain bin division of Butler Manufacturing, the company that pioneered the grain bin business in the early 1900s. CTB then acquired assets of Beard Industries, Inc., a leading grain dryer manufacturer in early 2002 and the assets of LeMar Industries and Riley Equipment, leading conveying and support structure manufacturers in 2012. Many BROCK® Systems are adaptable for industrial use as well, to serve the specialized needs of the plastics, oil and biofuel industries, among others.

Founded in 1952, CTB has been dedicated to “Leadership Through Innovation®” throughout its history. The company was acquired by Berkshire Hathaway Inc. in 2002.
