Romulus and Remus

Are twin brothers born

From the goddess Rhea

When they were born

Rhea took them and put them in

A basket and

Sent them down a river

They were found

By a she-wolf

And she-wolf and she fed them

Then a Shepherd and his wife

Found them and adopted them

When they were growing up

They were shepherds

But once they were older

They wanted to become kings!

So they ran away and built

A kingdom on the side of

A cliff overlooking

The Tiber river

Once they were done they decided

They would only have one king

So for years,

They fought.

In rage Romulus

Threw a rock at his brother

And he died

Making Romulus the king.
