Dear Juliet,

Why have you done this to me? I can’t believe you married Romeo, who didn’t bribe me and even killed your cousin; you still love him! I can’t believe that you dishonored the pride of our family. For what you have done, I exclude you from the family and I promise to kill the nurse that raised you as well as Friar Laurence, who married the two of you. If you want to save them and become a member of our family again, you must kill Romeo and hang his body on a tree in the Central Square of Verona.

Yours,lord Montague

A message from Juliet’s father

Juliet,

I understand that you love Romeo, but think again… He has killed my father and my mother and has also made damages to our kingdom. You can find better men to marry. And remember, physical appearance means nothing to the soul. Skype me when you have time.

Love,Your Father

Haris Papadakis

Dear Juliet,

I am awfully disappointed!!! I can’t believe that you are mar-ried to that terrible man, Romeo!!! Do you even know what his family has done to us? I can’t believe that I am losing my daughter! Juliet is dead! I can’t recognize my own kid at the moment. All I know is that you are no longer my daughter! You claim that Romeo is the one for you... But you are lost!!! Write back soon!

Best wishes,

Dad Yiannis Spiropoulos

Dear Father,

You know how much I love you and I am so sorry for running away. But I ‘m sure that you know we cannot control who we are going to fall in love with. I miss you, I really miss you… But I love him much more. Did not you know that everything is fair in love? Well, I know it well since I have fallen in love with our worst enemy’s son, Romeo. Please forgive me, I am truly sorry but, as I mentioned, we cannot control our feelings. I would like you to know that I am happy with him and I love him more than my life. He takes care of me and he protects me so you do not need to worry. But the main point is that I’m sending you this letter is to announce that Romeo and me got married! Please do not get upset. I would be much happier if you gave us your blessing. So, do bless us father! Your beloved daughter has found true love and happiness. Are you going to take it away from her?

Juliet,

How could you do this to me? You’ve been my daughter and I adored you! Right now, I can only feel hatred! Why did you betray me? You were raised to averse the Montagues, not to join them. I’m not going to allow this marriage to last. I will definitely kill Romeo. So, I won’t rest until I see his dead body! I don’t want to see you again! You have to leave Verona, otherwise, if I find you, I will have you imprisoned for the rest of your life!

Lord Capulet!

Dear parents,

i am sending you this e-mail to inform you about a big decision i took a few days ago. As you know, there was a creepy man who kept following me for the last weeks. One day, he broke into my room while I was changing into my pajamas and took a picture of me. After a week of black-mailing that he would upload it on Facebook, if i didn’t marry him, I thought about it very much and decided to give in. Besides he is a Montague and i am a Capulet so, in this case, it was really difficult. Afterall, i de-cided that i had to marry him not to ruin my reputation. I hope you are not mad that I have chosen a Montague over our family. Here is a picture from our wedding:

Dear Juliet,

How dare you got married without letting us know first? Es-pecially to that Μontague, Romeo! Paris was such a great person and he would make a great husband. Now you are turning him down for that fool, Romeo. You said that you love him...That’s a lie...My daughter, Juliet, would never love a Montague. You are no longer Juliet. You are no longer my daughter. If you say that Romeo is the one for you, then you’ve been out of your mind.

Love,Your father

My dear father,

I’ve been thinking lately that it’s time to move on with my life. I’ve grown up and it’s time for you to understand that I’m not a child. However, I know that you will love and protect me no matter where I am or what I do. The purpose of my letter is to let you know that I have been married to the man I love and I wish to spend the rest of my life with. He makes me feel safe and adored. He’s in love with me and I’m in love with him and that’s the best thing that someone can have. That man is Romeo.I know you won’t approve of our love but he’s precious to me. I beg for your forgiveness for falling in love. You will miss me and I will miss you too. Please don’t worry about me. I’ll be fine, I’ll be in love.

Your daughter, Juliet
