European country for any kind of non-profit activity, as a form ofinformal (and mutual) learning activity (learning / sharing knowledge).
• 2. To create lasting cooperation between the host and sending organisations around a specific topic or target group, and thanks to the exchange of volunteers.
• 3. To enable the local communities involved in the exchange of volunteers to draw on the potential of senior citizens as asource of knowledge, competence and experience.

FUNDING FOR SENDING YOUR OWN VOLUNTEERS ABROAD
• This funding is mixed: forfait + real costs
Forfait: covers cost related to sending your own volunteers abroad. For Italy is 500 Euros for each volunteers (language and cultural preparation etc)
Real costs: for travel expenses. This is based on the real cost of the tickets.
