A romantic film has been defined as...

"Romance films are romantic love stories recorded in visual media for

broadcast in theatres and on television that focus on passion, emotion,

and the affectionate romantic involvement of the main characters and

the journey that their genuinely strong, true and pure romantic love

takes them through dating, courtship or marriage. Romance films make

the romantic love story or the search for strong and pure love and

romance the main plot focus."

Could I produce a romantic film

trailer?

After researching the genre conventions of a romantic film I have

decided that creating a romantic film trailer would be achievable. Due to

the storylines varying there are no specific requirements and with the

storyline often focussed on two individuals casting is unlikely to prove

an issue , neither would mystical creature production such as those

seen in fantasy film's as they would not be required.

A romantic film, therefore, would be simple to make in terms of mise en

scene, with stereotypical props such as roses/flowers and rings easy to

obtain.
