RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

All Religious Education classes will resume on Saturday,

October 15th at 9:00 A.M. in the school.

On Saturday, October 29, 2016, from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM all Religious Education students in grades 6 thru 9 will participate in a Youth Retreat at the parish. Religious Education students in grades 1 thru 5 will meet at the regular time, 9:00 to 10:15 AM

CT CATHOLIC MEN'S CONFERENCE

The 9th Annual Connecticut Catholic Men's Conference will be

held on October 22, 2016 at Goodwin College, East Hartford,

CT. Ticket price is $40.00 and it includes a box lunch. For more

LADIES SOCIAL CLUB

The members of the Ladies Social Club will hold a

ZIARNKO WIARY

Nawet najmniejsze ziarenko wiary daje uczestnictwo w twórczej

mocy Boga, dla którego nie ma rzeczy niemożliwych. Potrzeba

wielkiej pokory, aby uznać, że sami z siebie nic wielkiego

uczynić nie możemy. Dlatego postawa ucznia Jezusa musi być

postawą ewangelicznego sługi, który jest pracowity i wierny. On

przecież orze pole, pasie stado, usługuje przy stole, a więc we

dnie i w nocy pracuje w domu, zagrodzie i na polu. Jest to

wzorowy przykład całkowitego zaangażowania się oraz

posłusznego i ufnego przyjęcia woli Bożej. Taka właśnie ma być

nasza wiara. Bóg wówczas przeobrazi nasze czyny w taki

sposób, że z małego ziarnka staną się one czymś niesłychanie

wielkim, znacznie większym niż przesadzenie drzewa w morze.

DEVOTIONS/NABOŻENSTWA

Mondays in English at 6:30 P.M. Polish devotions will take

place on Friday at 7:00 P.M. This Friday is an exception because

it is first Friday and there will be Mass. We cordially invite all.

PASTORAL PLANNING PROGRESS REPORT

By late September, the first round of pastoral planning

meetings will have resulted in restructuring

recommendations from over 200 priests and at least 900

parishioners representing 17 deaneries and 212 parishes

of the Archdiocese. An additional round of meetings

with priests and parishioners will begin sometime in

November. These meetings will entail reviews and

feedback on the first round of deanery planning. The

feedback we gather will be used to advance our thinking

on how best to restructure our deaneries. Additionally,

and as a response to people's request for more frequent

and up-to-date communication, the Office of Pastoral

Planning has launched its new Pastoral Planning website:

www.stewardsfortomorrow.org. Here you will find

information about Pastoral Planning, including a glossary of

key terms; people invested in guiding the process; data and

statistics that will help inform decisions; news and testimonies

from those involved in the pastoral planning process, and much

more. Finally, in the last quarter of 2016, we will publish a

special edition magazine dedicated to providing even more

information about pastoral planning, including stories and

testimonies from people whose parishes and/or schools have

already merged or are in the process of restructuring. The

magazine will be mailed to every registered household of the

Archdiocese.

ANNIVERSARY SUNDAY CELEBRATION

All couples celebrating their 25th

wedding anniversaries this year are invited to a special Mass

which will take place at St. Joseph’s Cathedral on Sunday,

October 16, 2016 at 2 P.M. Archbishop Blair will be the main

celebrant. Family members and friends are encouraged to
