Materials:

Playing board

Six-sided die or spinner

Chips, highlighter or plastic sleeve and dry erase marker

Instructions:

The first player rolls a die and reads a word on the list under that number.

If the word is read correctly it is covered with a chip or marked with a highlighter.

You can also use the plastic sleeve and a dry erase marker to save paper.

Play continues until all the words are read.

Adults can misread a word on purpose and challenge the student to catch them.

Use a paperclip on the end of a pencil to make a spinner.
