CHANGE:• Change is a natural
phenomenon cum process and everything in this universe is bound to change.
• There was a time when man use to live in caves, but at today’s time mean has stepped into the surface of moon cause man has no control over natural changes.
• DEVELOPMENT:• It is a process of change.• Development is all about
change, change in lifestyle, change in thought process, change attitudes etc.
• The process of economic and social transformation that is based on complex cultural and environmental factors and their interactions.

• Media is the most powerful tool of communication.
• Mass media which is consider as the fourth pillar of our democracy.
• Rural development and empowerment is nothing but the proactive initiation, implementation of policies to improve the standard of living of the non-urban areas and remote or underdeveloped villages.

• Media act as bridge between the govt. and rural masses.
• Media should highlight the indigenous technology of the rural masses,
• Media should act as the agent of change (positive change).
The Press Council of India was first set up on 4 July 1966
CONCLUSION• In today’s world, media has become as necessary as food
and clothing. It plays a significant role in strengthening of the society. Media is considered as a “mirror” of the modern society, in fact, it is the media which shapes our lives.
• Media is undoubtedly is the most powerful tool for bringing positive changes in form of development to the society. There are many issues related to rural development in terms of social, economical, cultural, ethical etc. and media has play a pivotal role in diminishing the problems for the development purpose.
