PGDM is the one of the most reputed professional coures in the field of Management.It include theory as well as its practical application.Summer Training is an integral part of PGDM programme, for sucessful completion of this programme require two months summer training in reputed organisation.So after completion of third semester each student at DAYNAND SAGAR BUSINESS SCHOOL, BANGALORE need to under go two months training in an organisation.

This training serves the purposes of acquainting the student with environment of an organisation in which student have to work hard in future .Only theoretical knowledge is not enough but its practical application isalso required to be learned.

I was fortunate enough to have an opportunity of doing summer training at ASSESS PEOPLE SERVICE Pvt. Ltd.INDIA. Every trainee was required to prepare a report of his working in the organisation. I was assigned a project on“MARKET POTENTIAL FOR CAREERWISE”

R.Kannan  

Managing Director & CEO

R. Kannan is the founder promoter of AssessPeople  and brings with him over  thirteen years of experience in Human Resource Management and over fifteen  years of entrepreneurial

experience. His  areas of expertise include Human Resource  strategy management, workforce management and process management. 

An alumnus of XLRI (Batch of ’82), he has worked in organisations like   Blow Plast,  Crompton Greaves, Hindustan Lever and the Murugappa Group in various positions in

workforce managment. His last stint in HR was at the Murugappa Group where he  worked   as the General Manager HR and  moved on to create his own space in Indian industry .Long before online workforce management solutions  entered the Indian  scenario;  he envisaged

its need and  founded   AssessPeople  in 1998, with a charter to provide best-in-class, workforce management solutions   through the synergy of HR and psychology,  in India and abroad, using the Internet as the medium of delivery. Over the years, with its ‘origin in India

He has over 15 years of experience in Finance and operations.

 His expereince in the Consulting sector has given Ganesh an in-depth broad based understanding of the technology – finance interface, a determinant of his contribution as a member of the  Board and the Management Team. He has an in-depth exposure to IT  and

Software Development in terms of processes of financial and operations planning, budgeting and cost management . He also has an in depth exposure to the complete spectrum of

accounting, taxes, finance, budgeting, controlling and reporting. He helps structure and optimize all administrative processes and commercial decisions within the organization.

Lalitha KannanDIRECTORLalitha Kannan has been a guiding force behind all legal, secretarial and strategic finance  issues in AssessPeople. Her sound financial advice and her years of  experience  have helped AssessPeople since its inception.

A Company Secretary by profession, Lalitha has worked with  various companies consulting in the areas of legal and company law regulatory and compliance matters.

With over seventeen  years of experience as a Company Secretary, Lalitha brings to the table a strong blend of confidence and financial expertise. She has an in-depth exposure to Financial and Operations Planning and Budgeting. She helps organize and optimize all financial processes and strategic commercial decisions within the organization.

Lalitha has been a constant support for the team at AssessPeople. A very approachable and likable person of senior management team.

When not at work she loves homemaking, reading and music.

Dr.Aru VarmaDirector

Dr. Arup Varma, is Indo-U.S. Professor of Management Studies at the Graduate School of Business, Loyola University Chicago (U.S.A.). Dr. Arup Varma is a Professor of Human Resource Management at Loyola University Chicago, having joined Loyola in 1996. Previously (2002-2007), he was Director of the Institute of Human Resources & Employment Relations, and Chair of the HRM department. He has also been a visiting professor, and guest lectured, at Peking University, Beijing, China; Tulane University, New Orleans (U.S.A.); Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai; XLRI, Jameshedpur, Clark Atlanta University, Atlanta (U.S.A.), and Aston University, Birmingham (U.K.).

Dr. Varma has published numerous scholarly articles and book chapters on key topics in  Human Resource Management. He has taught courses in International and Strategic HRM, Staffing, Organisational Theory and Behaviour, Strategic Financial Analysis, Performance Management, Organisational Development & Change, etc.  His current research looks at performance appraisal, and expatriate selection and evaluation.

He belongs to the XLRI Batch of '84 and is a Ph.D. (Industrial Relations & Human Resources), from Rutgers University, NJ.  An outstanding teacher and researcher in his own right, he was awarded the 'Graduate School of Business Faculty of the Year - 2002/3'and the 'School of Business Administration Researcher of the Year - 2003/4'. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology, the Academy of Management, the Society for Human Resource Management, and the Human Resource Management Association of Chicago. 

A well respected professor globally, Arup brings in a global favour to the "Think Tank" in AssessPeople.. 

He works with AssessPeople in guiding the strategic research initiatives and facilitates moves for partnerships with academic and research institutions in India and abroad.

Anil Kochhar Director

An alumnus of XLRI (Batch of ’82), Anil has worked in Ranbaxy in various positions in Human Resources and  moved on to create his own space in Indian industry. As a Managing Director of an leading International Buying house in India, Anil had worked extensively with clients in USA, Europe and South East Asia markets. A keen eye for international business opportunities  and a strong sense for managing relationships makes Anil a valuable asset to the 'think tank' of the AssessPeople Board to fulfill to global aspirations of the company.

information they don’t.

• Awaring program like advertisment are not good.
