They will be writing about it on Friday and your discussions will really help. You could talk about the great ideas and words that they could use. Thank you. Year 5 Talk to your adult about the visitors Talk Homework: We feel that this is a really valuable activity and has a very positive impact on the quality of the ‘Friday Write’. It is very important school holds correct details for you and your child so that procedures can be followed smoothly in case of an emergency. Thank you. St Joseph’s Penny boxes Your child will be bringing home a ‘St Joseph’s Penny Collection’ box. This charity is run by Caritas Diocese of Salford to raise money to help local people in need. Boxes should be returned to school by 19 th March 2014. All donations are greatly appreciated. Thank you to all the parents who attended Parents’ Evening. It was lovely to see so many of you. Appointments for Reception and Year 4 parents will be sent out shortly. If you were not able to make the Parents’ Evening, please speak to your child’s class teacher.
