The Pot Grows and the cards diminish, so if you want to miss a

meeting, go ahead, that gives the rest of us a better chance to

    win.

There are only 17 cards on the table, that is all that is left

between you and the pot. Today the draw was not the

Joker, the Joker is waiting for you next week.

    Meet Tom Wright

Tom a recent member of our club told us about his background and his life's

    journey to The Villages.

Tom was born and brought up in the “Panhandle of Texas and Oklahoma” , his

father was a Cowboy or should I say a cattleman. Tom’s mother passed away

with cancer when he was just a teenager. He and his brother along with his fa-

ther, endured the bachelor life each doing their own cooking, cleaning and

laundry . Tom Graduated from Oklahoma State, receiving a BA degree in eco-

nomics in 1992. He is married with two grown children.

Tom had various positions with a number of investment firms , some of them

buying out the firms he worked with. He worked inn Texas as well as Oklaho-

ma . During His last stent in Texas , he heard about an Opportunity to move to

Florida. Where he found his present position at Sable Chase, ( He is a Vice –

President at Sable Chase) he has more than 26 years of experience with invest-

ment management as well as a long history of working with non-profit organi-

    zations.

Tom enjoys tennis , running and travel as well as many other family activities.

Welcome Tom glad to have you with us.
