Welcome to our first annual Family Fun Day! Thisunique event allows you to experience some of whatWest Peoria has to offer.
Hiking, games, food and soft drinks are availablethroughout the day and each business will haveshuttle services to the other stops. Shuttle servicewill be provided throughout the day. The shuttle
will make stops at participating businesses every 20minutes. Tickets are $2.00/each and are available atall merchants. Hikes to Rocky Glen originate atJimmys.

FRIENDS OF ROCKY GLEN
The Friends of Rocky Glen is a nonprofit organization workingto protect this unique and historical geologic area near Peoria,Il. The land has been recently purchased by the City of Peoria.The Friends of Rocky Glen are determined to see this areaobtain public access, dawn to dusk. Our next priority is to helpdevelop a parking lot to allow safe access into the Glen. In themeantime, our group has received express permission to leadguided hikes into Rocky Glen on a monthly basis. These hikesall originate from our headquarters at Jimmys. Shuttlebusses take our hikers to Rocky Glen and bring you directlyback to your car at Jimmys.
Farmington Road Entertainment district
FRED, The Acronym for: The Farmington Road EntertainmentDistrict, Where Peoria comes to Play. The recently nameddistrict consists of a two mile stretch between Main Street andKickapoo Creek Road. It is home to over 20 unique, locallyowned, recreation, hospitality and entertainment venues. Weare bounded by Bradley Park on the East, and soon to bedeveloped Rocky Glen Park on the West side of KickapooCreek and just South of Farmington Road. In between are avariety of well established, locally owned venues. FarmingtonRoad has been an entertainment destination for generations.FRED is proud to have the support of West Peoria and Peoria

Silent Auction
Doug and Eileen Leunig are respected local artists in thefield of using photography to make light paintings. The
painting process involves over 500 -1000 photographs and
techniques to create unique art pieces. The Leunigs areproducing a Rocky Glen light painting and will donate thepiece.The finished work of art will be on display all day onJune 22, at Sky Harbor. Bids will close on 7/20/13.

For anyone interested in visiting Rocky Glen - long pants are recommended to avoid contact with poison ivyand stinging nettle. Our hike is a moderately difficult hike and NO ALCOHOL is allowed on the hike.Hikes will be leaving / returning all day from Jimmy's, based on availability of waiting hikers. All hikes will
be guided by Rocky Glen members.
