FEEDBACK

Page 21: Rock the Studio

A Few Comments from Students• A great idea! I think the Studio will offer the right environment to spur

creativity and promote critical thinking.• I think the Noel Studio sounds like a great idea. I wish I would still be

around when it’s completed.• The sample furniture is GREAT—wish I wasn’t graduating next year! I’m

so glad such a historic area is finally going to be used. This is the kind if space that high-achieving students look for when choosing a college.

• I really like the concept of the Studio for Academic Creativity. I believe space truly has an impact on how we learn and EKU is doing will be great.

• I think it’s a great concept and a great idea. I personally can’t wait to see it and use it.

• I think this is really a good idea. The weird bean bag chairs are really comfy. This all sounds like it belongs at an Ivy League but it’s here at EKU and I love it!

Comments from Interim Studio Director, Dr. Sherry Robinson

• A big thank you to all who made today’s event such a success!

• Despite the horrible weather, 204 students toured the Noel Studio [our goal was 200]. They walked away with excitement and anticipation—we can’t get this built fast enough!

• A special thank you to Kathy Keltner’s PUB 385 [Event Planning] class for making this a fantastic way to get students excited about the Studio.
