• An internationally acknowledged licence for the use and programming of industrial robots, equivalent to the certification granted to professionals and companies. • Students can receive it by completing an exam at the end of the training course, which will allow them to become robotics experts while still at school.

• The training proposal is recognised by MIUR (the Italian Ministry of Education) as an Alternating school-work programme for a total of 100 hours per student. • The project includes a 40-hour certified training course for teachers. The acquired skills will remain the personal assets of the individual teachers and of the school. • Schools can benefit from funding for projects related to digital teaching and robotics, such as PON 2014-2020.

ONLINE COURSE | MODULES 0-4: Comau Web Academy & Test The teacher receives an e-mail with the access credentials for the Comau Web Academy platform, which contains the Use and Programming course materials and the RoboSim simulator.

TEACHER TRAINING AT THE PEARSON-COMAU TRAINING CENTRETeacher preparation for delivering the course to their students, focusing particular attention on hands-on activities. At the end of the day, the teacher receives the printed certificate “Teacher authorised by Comau to teach the Use and Programming course within the Robotics Licence Project”.

ONLINE COURSE | MODULES 0-2: Comau Web Academy & Test Each student receives an e-mail with the access credentials for the Comau Web Academy platform, which contains the course materials and the RoboSim simulator. All the tests will be taken on this platform.

STUDENT IN-CLASS TRAINING + SIMULATION LABORATORYDuring the 40 hours of training at school, students review the contents of Modules 1 and 2 with the help of the teacher and perform some hands-on activities tests with the RoboSim simulator.

Modulo 4 - OTHER PROCEDURES AND INSIGHTSUseful information for the best use of the robotic system + intermediate assessment test

A DAY AT THE PEARSON-COMAU TRAINING CENTRE + EXAM AND CERTIFICATIONBefore the exam, students have the opportunity to practice what they have learned during the course. The most deserving ones receive the Robotics Licence (Basic, Intermediate or Advanced level, depending on the score obtained on the exam).

FINAL ASSESSMENT TEST ONLINE + CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE

ONLINE COURSE | MODULES 3-4: Comau Web Academy & TestStudents take Modules 3 and 4 online on their own. The final assessment test, consisting of 37 questions, will allow the students to obtain the Use and Programming course certificate of attendance.

Our proposal for the schools

The proposal includes:40 hours of training for the teachers 100 hours of training for the students

(recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education, also as an Alternating school-work programme) registration for the certification exam to obtain the Robotics Licence.

Training for the teachers is guaranteed by Pearson trainers. The exam can be taken after making a reservation at the Comau Headquarters in Turin

or at the Pearson Place Training Centres in Milan, Padua, Rome or Naples.
