Just one more month left in 2013 and then it’s going to be 2014. Wow, I can’t believe it’s already been a whole year since conclave last year and now conclave 2014 is almost here! Can you believe it? In just a month you will be able to find out who your next LTG-Elect will be, I’m hoping all of you great leaders take a chance because it could be YOU. I still remember my first DCM serving as your Lieutenant Governor at Hillcrest Park and now we’re having our ninth DCM of the year… an Ugly Sweater Party at Yuba City High School on December 13th at 4:30 PM, I’ll see you there right? ;)

But moving on, I really can’t begin to stress how proud I am of all of you robots. Winter season is coming which means stress from finals, but also winter break! Make sure you spend time with your family and friends but also make sure that you SERVE! Remember that 10,900 division-wide service goal we set, we just now reached a little over 1,000 so we have a LONG way to go! Take advantage of this time to keep the members you serve involved and spread that Key Club joy all throughout your homes, schools, and communities! We have so much more exciting news and events coming up these next four months. I hope you enjoy the last Robo Update of 2013! Keep on serving and inspiring!

Yours in service,

Prajwol Devkota D14 Lieutenant Governor 2013-2014

RIVER VALLEY

Accion de Gracias

By Divya Sood [Class Rep.]

The Kiwanis Early Risers Accion de Gracias Turkey Give away was a great event. It was a really cold and early morning but it was worth it! A lot of families and kids came in to help with the Kiwanians. It was really nice to see not just Key Clubbers and Kiwanians helping out to help the needy but also other people! We started at 6:30 PM after set up and were done handing out all of the turkeys, pies, and etc by 7 PM! I’m really excited to be able to attend this

event again next year and help more people have a better Thanksgiving! 13

YUBA CITY

Moose Lodge Face Painting

By Judy Tran [Editor]

On Sunday, October 27 various Yuba City High School Key Club members participated in face paint-ing for children of the Moose Lodge. For about four hours, our members got creative and painted Halloween inspired works of art! From faces to even hands and legs, YCHS Key Club members did it all! The event was a huge success, leaving about a hundred children smiling for days.

“On November 15 through November 17, 2013 I had the honor of attending the Kiwanis Key Leader Program at Camp Jones Gulch in LaHonda, CA! It took a long journey to get there but it was definitely one of the most unforgettable weekends of my life! Key Leader taught me about the keys to excellence which were: personal integrity, personal growth, respect, building community and pursuit of excellence! The various activities we did throughout the weekend with my everyone and my neighborhood (#DAHOOD) were really engaging and helped me step out of my comfort zone! I also made bonds that will last a lifetime! Key Leader is definitely something I’m going to try to attend again and you should as well!” - Prajwol Devkota, D14 LTG
