PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Robin is a partner in the firm. Prior to joining the firm in 2011, she was an associate in the New York office of

Stroock & Stroock & Lavan for 5 years, and an associate in the Dallas office of Thompson & Knight LLP for 3

years.

DETAILS OF PRACTICE

Robin has a true passion for real estate law and it shows in her attention to her clients, dedication to her work

and track record for achieving favorable outcomes. She is solution oriented and creative in accomplishing her

client’s goals in a collaborative, efficient manner. Robin analyzes each deal as if she were a partner in the

transaction with a vested interest in the result and prides herself on giving timely, practical advice. She enjoys

working with her clients and being a valuable part of their team. Robin represents sellers and buyers,

landlords and tenants, and lenders and borrowers. She is, therefore, able to see all sides of the transaction

and negotiate fair and equitable terms.

Robin advises institutional clients, regional developers and individual investors, assisting them from start to

finish on each real estate transaction or at any stage in-between. For example, Robin routinely represents

developers in the initial diligence of the investment property, such as title, survey and land use planning,

followed by the acquisition of such property, including negotiating the purchase terms and debt and equity

financing arrangements. Once the property is acquired, Robin can assist with the development of the project,

including facilitating construction matters and leasing efforts. Upon stabilization, she acts as an advisor for on-

going leasing, development and financing issues and thereafter the ultimate sale or hold of the asset.

Robin’s recent representative transactions include the following:

1. Representation of a developer with the negotiation of a 281,000 square foot office tower lease in downtown

San Antonio, Texas, together with the related construction financing of such tower. [Click here to see this

project]

2. Representation of a developer with the redevelopment of a former shopping mall located on 49 acres in

Pharr, Texas into a newly constructed 466,000 square foot commercial shopping center, including

negotiating 9 tenant leases of at least 20,000 square feet each, and staged construction financing and

bridge loans totaling approximately $80,000,000.[Click here to see this project]

3. Representation of a developer with an assemblage acquisition of 10 separate tracts of land in Winston-

Salem, North Carolina into a newly-constructed cohesive retail development of 122,000 square feet

situated on 11.38 acres, together with the related acquisition and construction financing of approximately

$18,000,000.

4. Representation of an owner with the mixed-use development of an approximately 742 acre tract of vacant

land in Kyle, Texas, with uses such as retail, office, residential and industrial.

5. Representation of an institutional real estate development company as borrower with the negotiation of

construction and permanent financings for industrial facilities located throughout the United States.

6. Representation of an investor in connection with the origination of multiple mezzanine loans and second

lien security interests securing multi-family and multi-storage projects throughout Texas.

Robin truly enjoys her work and is never disappointed to go into the office. However, when not working, she

enjoys traveling, happy hour, watching football, golfing, spending time with family, good conversations and

new adventures.
