The halls of Lee Junior High have echoed through the years with the footsteps and voices of all those students and teachers who have passed this way. Some have been soft , others have been loud, some have been helpful , a few have been indifferent, but much teaching and much learning has taken place . Many teachers have been honored through these years and many more deserve our expressed appreciation, but there is one, this year , whom we honor with all our love. She is so gentle, so peace loving, so kind, so understanding and helpful. When there is evidence of turmoil , she remains calm, when clouds gather, she spreads sunshine. She is our 1970 choice as teacher of the year, and we_ enthusiastically dedicate our year­book to Mrs. Geneva Jenkins.
