Are they really saving money? Well, a tracking system is supposed to be a tool that lets you control your fleet, reducing costs and increasing productivity, among other advantages. The difference between Frotcom and many cheaper tracking systems is measured not only in the monthly fee you pay, but most of all, in the results you get from both systems. The small difference you may save in monthly fees will be lost month after month in the money you could have saved with an intelligent tracking system. Have in mind that the costs related to the use of a fleet vehicle include fuel, maintenance and the driver’s wages. This will easily go up to 2500€ a month. If you have a tool to save you 4% of that money which any company can easily get from Frotcom this is equivalent to 100€ a month. You must decide based on the results a tracking system gives you. And there you go: this usually means that cheap becomes expensive. In some countries, companies are in their second wave of investments in vehicle tracking. The first wave was a first attempt, usually to check what they could expect from a tracking system. The second one corresponds to a different approach, in which companies know exactly what they need and want. We’re glad to say that Frotcom is becoming a safe harbor for companies in their second wave investments on tracking systems.
