Ultra low consumption in optimised operation modeHighly reliable communications.Low network data usage.Remote configuration, management and maintenance provided by the SÓCRATES cloud platform.Improved coverage with good indoor signal penetration.Ability to register and locally store measurements.Ergonomic, small with easy installation and set-up.
Sócrates is responsible for the management of RMU NB-Aqua devices, as well as the administration of collected data.
Network MonitoringProvides the visibility, control and flexibility required in order to design and administer the different profiles applied to devices which are globally connected.
Device ManagementThis platform manages the remote devices network. This portal also allows ad-hoc remote technical configuration and firmware updates.Socrates IoT also manages alarms and events triggered by the remote device which helps preventing future incidents.
Data ServerWeb Services Open Platform providing secure storage and access of measuring data from external portals. This service enables customers to perform custom analysis of measurement data.
General InformationThe RMU NB-Aqua collects measurement data from smart water meters using the UNE82326 protocol. Information is locally stored before later transmission via the Narrow Band cellular network (NB-IoT) to standard IoT platforms in the Cloud.
Data may be exchanged on demand or using a pro-grammed transmission pattern, taking variable levels of spectrum and signal penetration into consideration. The device is able to operate with very low levels of network coverage and power consumption is optimi-sed.
Device autonomy has been maximised thereby mini-mising operating maintenance costs of the mea-surement network.
The RMU NB-Aqua is compact allowing use in con-fined spaces. The set-up is carried out automatica-lly, with a local auto check-up triggered during this phase to ensure it is completed correctly.
