To enable the children to camp and for them to benefit from sleeping outside. We require the parents to return at 7.30pm daily to sleep with their children (or team up with another parent friend to share the camping). Last year we asked some parents to help with the cooking, which was a huge success and we require the same help again this year. A rota will be printed, so please let us know if and when you’re able to help. Parents who are not helping on the rota are asked to leave the following morning by 9am. The ponies will need to be penned in electric fence. (Supplied by parents). A full kit list will be supplied.

THE  COST  OF  CAMP    

The  cost  of  camp  is  £120  including  breakfast  and  dinner  and  full  days  instruction.    Parents  must  provide  Children  with  a  pack  lunch  each  day.    To  make  the  payment  easier,  you  can  pay  in  installments  over  the  next  couple  of  months.      All  you  need  to  do  is  bring  your  pony  and  kit  -­‐  0h  and  of  course  some  tuck  money  and  cakes!!.

Our  aim  is  to  provide  a  fun  but  structured  environment  for  the  children  to  enjoy  the  experience  of  camping  with  their  ponies.      We  hope  you  can  join  us  in  the  summer  to  meet  up  with  your  friends,  make  new  ones  and  have  some  pony  fun.    

Fun,  Friends  &  Riding  RMPC  –  JUNIOR  CAMP  2016    

For  children  8  to  12  years  Due  to  the  previous  years  successes,  we  are  lucky  enough  to  be  able  to  host  junior  camp  for  a  third  year  at  Three  Chimneys  Farm,  Goudhurst  ,    We  have  also  secured  the  use  of  Bull  Farm  and  its  amazing  facilities,  just  a  short  ride  away.  The  children  will  be  able  to  experience  the  amazing  XC  course  together  with  some  exciting  show  jump  combinations  and  our  forest  rides  too.  Camp  will  be  packed  with  new  challenges  for  the  children  and  we  are  all  looking  forward  to  having  lots  of  fun  and  laughter  too.        The  camp  will  be  run  over  3  days  with  2  nights  camping  for  both  the  children  and  their  ponies.  (Camping  optional)(Parents  will  be  required  to  stay  with  their  children  over  night  if  camping.)  During  the  day  the  children  will  be  placed  into  groups  and  will  benefit  from  structured  lessons  by  our  qualified  Instructors.    All  children  will  be  given  the  opportunity  to  improve  on  their  stable  management,  Show  Jumping,  X  County,  Dressage  and  Games  skills  and  techniques.    They  can  also  enjoy  a  nice  hack  through  the  forest  to  round  up  a  perfect  day  of  riding.    Then  its  back  to  camp  to  put  their  ponies  in  their  pens  and  give  them  a  well  deserved  rest  for  the  evening.    Once  the  stable  duties  are  finished,  it’s  ‘dinner  time’  followed  by  some  evening  activities,  then  a  nice  hot  choc,  biscuit  and  bed  under  the  stars.
