Help your child get more out of high school by setting them up for success. Give them the advantage of

a Walther education. Since 1954, Walther has been the chosen school for families looking for a superior college preparatory education built on a Christian foundation. We are proud to have 100% college acceptance for our graduating seniors each year, and the highest per student scholarship average in the Chicagoland area. Beyond that what makes Walther MORE?

First, you’ll experience more here, exploring your intellect, spirituality, leadership abilities, athleticism, musicality, and artistry – sometimes all in the same day. Second, our culture make us seem more a university than high school with managed class sizes, advanced courses, candid discussions, and a collaborative faculty. Third, you can someday change the world, because like Walther alumni before them, our seniors are accepted into the best colleges across the country. Fourth, our school’s diversity equips you with the empathy, communication skills and social awareness to connect with anyone,

anywhere. Fifth, we ensure you develop the academic fundamentals, confi dence and character to become the student you are meant to be. Finally, no matter your religion, you’ll fi nd Christ here, and He will fi nd you, enlighten you, inspire you, and guide you, in good times and bad.

“Whenever I think back about my years at Walther, I literally get a smile on my face. Those four years were truly some of the best years of my life,” quote from a Walther Alum. We are here to help your child grow. Choosing the right high school is an important decision in not only the student’s life, but the entire family. Choose MORE.

We are a Childcare Center for ages 6 weeks to 6 years. We are a teaching based center and offer pre-school

curriculum concept that starts as early as our Infant class.

Our curriculum provides an introduction to basic learning skills, fine arts and physical education through developmentally appropriate experiences.

Language Arts focus on phonics and letter recognition as well as vocabulary and verbal skills.

The children learn mathematics by the recognition of numbers and their concrete value versus mere counting. Working with colors, textures, shapes and sizing activities develops visual discrimination.

Fine Arts encourage their creative skills through various art mediums, music, literature, movement and play.

Physical education such as dance, sports, balancing, and outside activities on our enclosed playground supports gross motor development.

Fine motor skills are developed in their hands through various activities such as bead stringing, pegboards, sewing, puzzles, and nuts and bolts.

Our staff is degreed in Early Childhood Education and CPR and First Aid certified. They are loving, caring, talented and nurturing individuals who are concerned with each child’s social, emotional, physical and intellectual development. Each one continues to expand their knowledge by attending workshops and other forms of continuing education programs focused on the ever changing needs of families and Early Childhood Development.

During our summer month we offer fieldtrips and fun activities that continue to promote learning while giving the children a “break” from a traditional learning setting.
