of Fire Commissioners of the WADINGRIVER FIRE DISTRICT, Towns ofBrookhaven and Riverhead, County ofSuffolk, State of New York, on the 10thday of June, 2013, subject to a permissivereferendum as provided for by Section6(g) of the General Municipal Law.

An extract of the resolution is as fol-lows:

The WADING RIVER FIRE DIS-TRICT maintains a Capital Reserve Fundfor Equipment under Section 6(g) of theGeneral Municipal Law in which accountthere is sufficient funds to accomplish thepurposes hereinafter set forth; namely,the purchase of a Fire District passengervehicle and associated equipment, and it isproposed to contract for the vehicle in or-der to maintain the high standards of per-formance of the WADING RIVER FIREDEPARTMENT in the discharge of itsduties in preserving the lives and propertyof the residents of the community and saidpurchase is deemed in the best interests

of the residents of the WADING RIVERFIRE DISTRICT. The resolution furtherprovides that there be transferred fromthe present Section 6(g) Capital ReserveAccount for Equipment of the WADINGRIVER FIRE DISTRICT a sum not toexceed Thirty Thousand ($30,000.00) Dol-lars, and the District Treasurer is autho-rized to effect such transfer from time totime to effect such purchase.

This resolution shall not take effectuntil thirty (30) days, unless in the mean-while a permissive referendum as pro-vided for in Section 6(g) of the GeneralMunicipal Law is required to be held.
