Scanning AreaMZ790U Max 11.7 " x 17" (297 x 432mm)

Scanner 600 x 600dpi ( RZ3/5: 300 x 600dpi)

TPH 600e-dpi x 600 ( Same as RZ3/5 )

Effect of 600x600dpi Scanning1. Effective for Link-print

Scanning speed is also twice as fast Faster Link-print2. Not as effective for master-making• Since the scanned data is converted to 600e, there is not much difference

compared with the RZ3&5. But the quality of the scanner–lens itself is better, so photo or half-tone images can be reproduced more precisely.

Basic SpecificationsOther Paper-feeding Information “Extended-paper” mode ( 1 paper / 2 drum rotations )

You can print on paper with a length of 21.9“(555mm) maximum, by storing the paper as a “custom-size-paper” from the panel.

When printing on a paper 17.2“(436mm) long (or longer), the machine will automatically switch to “Extended-paper mode”.

Interval print Useful when you want to gain more time to dry ink. You can

specify the paper-feed interval (number of free drum-rotations) from 1 to 10 rotations.

Drum 1 is recommended for single-color printing Less paper-size restrictions. Quicker master-making time. Set your most frequently used drum to Drum 1.
