Hazard Persons who may be

harmed

Risk controls

already in Place

Risk Assessment:

high, extreme

Further action

required to control risk

Bottles being

smashed

Actors (Brett, Kirby,

David) Set designers

and set managers

(Rachel and Alex)

The flooring of the scene.

Make sure people are

aware of the risks and

are sensible when

handling

Low Be sensible in where you place

the bottles, don’t put them on

the edge of tables etc

Tripping over loose

wires

Everyone involved in the scene

e.g. Actors, directors,

set designers

and production managers.

Camera’s Make sure people have

the wires tied

together and out of the way of the film to reduce the

risk of tripping

Low Place the cameras

wire out of the way of the filming. Buy some

cable tie to keep the

cable together

Wary of the road

when filming outside

Actors involved in the scene

The camera

Collisions of people

in the school scenes when

there are lots of

people in one scene

Actors – Brett, Kirby,

Dave and extras. The cameraman, set designer

and production

manager

Peoples personal

stuff – iPods, bags

could be damaged.

The school

interior could be damaged if there is

a lot of pushing

and shoving

A choreograph

to tell the people what

they are doing in the

scene so there is no

pushing and shoving in the scene

and people don’t bump

into each other

Low A rehearsal before the

scene is filmed so everyone

knows what he or

she is doing.

Hitting someone with the

Light saber in

the bedroom

scene

Actors- Brett and

Luke. Cameraman, production

manager and set

designer

Anything in the

scene for example a picture on the wall. The light

saber could also

be damaged. There is

also a chance of harm to

the actors

A choreograph sequence of what Brett is doing in the scene. This will

significantly reduce the

risks because he

will not what to do and what

not to

Moderate Have as few people in the room

when filming as possible. This will

reduce the risk

because there will be more room to use the

light saber

If an accident was to occur there are many different things we need to be aware off, for example, does the person have any allergies?

To reduce the risks on set we need to have a first aid set on hand at all times so we can treat the injury if needed. Ideally we would like to have a first aider on site as well, however this could seen to be unrealistic, so to conquer this each

person on scene will have to a number for a first aider if they was needed urgently.

Emergency Contact details:999 – Emergency

01354 606000 – Neale Wade Community College which will always have a first aider on site.
