Risk Assessment Risk Control

There could be a risk of knocking over camera equipment in a small bedroom space. This could cause injury to the one who knocks it over and to the equipment itself.

We will make sure everybody is aware of where the equipment is at all times. Also, we will make sure that the area we are working in is clear and clutter free so there are no other trip hazards.

When sat under the tunnel, having the empty bottles scattered is a risk. This is because they could potentially smash and cause injury.

The actors will be aware of where the bottles are and will be careful when using them to ensure no breakages. When transporting the bottles we will make sure they are well wrapped so they do not smash in the bag.

Twice in the trailer, we use the road. Working by the road is dangerous and needs to be taken into careful consideration. We need actors to walk by the side of the road, cross it and some footage needs to be filmed in the middle of the road.

So, when filming we will have people, who are not in the shot, watching the road at all times to make sure there are no vehicles. If there is, they will announce when oncoming traffic is approaching. This is so we know to get out of the way. We will also take it on ourselves to be personally conscientious of the traffic.

Equipment may get mistreated and become broken if not used in the proper manner.

We will make sure that everybody on set has a basic understanding of how to hold and carry the equipment correctly so no damages occur. Those who are filming will be told in more depth how to manage the equipment safely and correctly. Also, we will make sure equipment is not left unattended so that no items are stolen or damage occurs to any items.

When walking on the common, through bushes and shrubs there is potential for people to fall over, get cut or injured in other ways.

We will make sure that people are aware of their surroundings when walking through these areas.
