Illness/Injury Me/Meghan/Actors If a part of the cast/crew does become ill or injure suffers injury, we will have to reschedule to a more appropriate time when they are well enough to perform. This particular risk can not be overcome or prevented, only a reschedule will need to take place.

Actor clashes/inconveniences

Me/Meghan/Actors This risk can not always be prevented, a private/family matter may come up for either myself/Meghan and the cast which may have to be addressed immediately. Events that cannot be rescheduled will also impact on the filming progress but to prevent this I will make sure when everyone is free and are not busy with anything else.

Low Battery Me/Meghan To prevent this risk I will make sure either whoever has the camera the night before filming either me or Meghan makes sure we charge it before bed so that it gets enough charge during the night for the following day of filming.

Poor performance from actors

Me/Meghan/Actors Although this wont be entirely my fault, it will be the responsibility of the actor, but to of prevented this I should of known this beforehand by setting up posters around the college advertising to feature and be part of our music video, this way only people who were truly committed and confidence for the job would enter and then we would narrow it down accordingly after seeing them perform, instead of me/Meghan kindly asking our friends to perform as the artists/background actors.

Risk identified Responsibility How to overcome/prevent the risk

Not having the props in time Me/Meghan In order to prevent this risk, I will need to make sure I know exactly what I need to get, which may mean sourcing a local shore to purchase it and buying it. If we cannot for some reason get the props we need for our day of filming, we may need to either reschedule for a date were we can get the props, they may be out of stock at the time, or use something similar which may involve us changing our scenes slightly.

Broken equipment Me/Meghan As I will be borrowing a camera from college, I need to take extra care to ensure that it does not get broken which will result in me paying for the damage. To minimalize risk of the camera getting broken, I could use a tripod to keep it steady and upright if it needs to be still instead of balancing it on a table. Also I will need to make sure the actors don’t knock the camera and break it.

Trip hazards Me/Meghan It will be mine and Meghan's responsibility to set up the studio in preparation for filming on that day. As we plan to use lighting we do not want to injure any of the actors by them tripping over wires, to prevent this I will make sure before the actors enter the floor is tidy and wires are pushed away and they are informed if I cant hide a wire where it is so they don’t trip.
