Weather Outdoors Myself Though the weather can be quite unpredictable sometimes different to what is predicted on TV I will try my best to stay on top of it and use many different ways of knowing the weather in advance such as the TV, radio and a specific app for my phone which will allow me to monitor weather changes up to the point of filming

Actor timetable clashes All Myself It is my responsibility to pick actors that I can use at the times I need and that will also be good for them. I will pick my actors carefully so I don’t have to make further adjustments or change the date of filming too much to fit other peoples times.

Illness All Me and my actors

It is unpredictable when an actor will become sick or when I will be sick and will not be able to shoot though I cannot predict if it will happen I could possible replace an actor if they fall sick so it fits my shooting schedule better

Full memory/SD card or malfunction

All Myself I will be using my own memory cards while shooting and I will be using 8-16gb memory cards as they can hold a lot of footage depending on the resolution of the image and will not fill too quickly, if the SD card malfunctions I will simply use another and reshoot shots if needed

Low battery or no battery for camera

All Myself Though I will be using the cameras provided for me at my college I will be sure to get a charged battery or remember/remind someone to charge a battery that can be used in the camera for a long enough time to shoot the shots needed at the time.

Injury All Myself and my actors

Though injury is fairly unpredictable much like illness it can sometimes be prevented unlike illness and while my actors are shooting I will ask them to be careful and to consult me first on anything that could potentially harm them and I will also be asking them to safe outside of shooting too as it would be a lot of work if I had to reshoot all of my shots with that one actor in as I could not use them any more

Broken equipment All Myself Though I am not relying on a large amount of equipment (mainly a camera/cameras, tripod, track and dolly and a computer to save and edit my work on)There is still a chance that some of it could be broken or not ready for use at the time I need it. If any of this equipment is broken when I need it or when come to use it I can simply use another or if one breaks while I am using it I can simply pick up another one to use so it will only take a little time for me to replace

props All Myself I will be getting props myself and they are my responsibility and though there are not many props that I specifically need to buy I will still try my best to find them and have them for when they are needed at a price that I can afford

Poor performance from actor All Myself and actor

A poor performance always happens but the best way to get the performance you want is to work through it and do it until its right or to try something different or a different scene until the actor thinks they can give a good performance for that part or it could be that I am capturing it wrong for the way they are performing it .

Studio safety/ trip hazards In studio Myself and actors

When in the studio/indoor recording area there will be quite a few things to trip over after I have setup everything for the actors to use such as stands and wires, these things will be needed during the filming as it will make it seem more authentic and unfortunately cannot be removed from the set though I will try my best to cover them and make them that they are not a trip hazard.

Outside safety/trip and slip hazards

Outside Myself and actors

A good way to prevent some of the potential accidents while performing outside would be to wait till the floor is dry and not slippery though that would take much too long due to how the weather is in England and it will have to be something that will be dealt with/ ignored on the day though I will keep myself and my actors away from all largely slippery things while shooting and acting such as ice or trip hazards such as a large amount of rocks or stairs if they are slippery.

Shock hazards Indoors Myself and actors

I will be working with some electrical equipment and possibly microphones if needed though the largest shock hazard would be the amp that will be playing the music in the studio so the actors can match it as best they can and I will be setting this up as I wouldn’t like to harm any of my actors and this should be safe as long as I use common sense and do it correctly.

traffic Outdoors Myself and actors

This will be quite a big issue though I am trying to keep away from roads while doing this I have planned to be near some roads as I feel it will be needed in my video though I will not be shooting if any kind of car threatens my actors or if my actors feel unsafe and I will try my best to shoot while no cars are around though for continuity reasons I cannot wait too long while doing these shots.

Software Indoors Myself The software is kind of basic though it is good I will be using final cut as my editing software, I will be sure to save regularly and stop any unwanted wanted changes to my work.
