Risk Assessment

Risk Identified Location Responsibility Strategy to overcomeIllness all Me/other actors In the chance that a

actor or me shall be ill and not be able to

perform shoot, rescheduling may have

to take place , as being ill cannot be helped.

Unable to work all Me\other actors As the media film may not be the main priority in everybody’s lives, it

may lash with other activity’s they want to do and therefore they

are unable to act or shoot. I will over come

this by planning in advance and making

sure my cast can attend.Weather outdoors n/a As the weather is

unreliable and unable to predict, I will check

weather forecasts before I plan to shoot a scene

outdoors. If the weather changes while outdoors

and mid shoot, I will have to reschedule.

Location unsafe all Me I have put research into my locations to make

sure they are safe for me and my cast members

but in the unlikely chance of the locations

being unsafe, I will have to change my location

and rescheduleLighting all Me/other actors Due to the fact that of

most of my locations are

outside and I will be shooting in the daytime,

the lighting should be okay and not need to be

changed. If the lighting is too low or bright I will

edit the video in final cut to ensure that the

audience will be able to see it clearly.

Battery low all Me I will recharge the battery before any shoot

to ensure that I have a full battery and will not cause any distractions

Public interference outside Me/other actors I have chosen locations where it is sometimes

unlikely that the public will interfere wit h my

shooting times, although you can never predict

how the public will act. If one of the public does

interfere with my shoots, I would as them

polity to refrain from interfering and explain

what we are doing.Broken equipment all Me In the unlikely chance

that I break e or my cast breaks some of the

equipment, I will take full responsibility for it and try my best to fix it.

Although I am not taking my equipment to far or anywhere dangerous it

is quite unlikely that any equipment should be

broken.Memory card full all me After every shoot I will

upload footage to my

Page 3: Risk assessment

computer and save them to ensure that I do not

loose my material. Therefore my memory

card will not be full when I plan to shoo a

scene. I will also take a back up memory card

incase one does not work.

Props/costumes all me I will organize proms and costumes well in advance before the

shooting to ensure that they will all arrive on

time or be okay for the shoot. Although I don’t

have many props or costumes, I will make

sure that they are sorted out before the shoot.

Traffic outside Me/other actors Due to the fact that I will be shooting outside for most o the film , I will

have to make sure that I avoid a accident or fatality, as I am not

shooting near a road side a accident is

unlikely, but I will try my best to avoid one.

Health and safety all Me/other actors It I curtail that me and the other cast members

are in good health before the shoot and that our health and

safety is kept a good as possible while shooting.

Electricals all Me/other actors As I am only using a video recorder as

electrical equipment it is very unlikely that a

Page 4: Risk assessment

problem occurs and a injury is caused.

Therefore I will be taking great care of the electrical equipment to

ensure nothing goes wrong.
