  • Risk & Safety EngineeringWritten by fristySunday, 24 January 2010 04:53 - Last Updated Wednesday, 17 February 2010 02:46Risk & Safety Engineering is the second part of Risk Engineering studies. This sectiondiscussed SHE (Safety, Health & Environment). Usually at the initial phase or equipment andstructure design phase, HAZOP (Hazard and operability), HAZID (Hazard Identification), QRA(Quantitative Risk Assessment), F & E (Fire & Explotion), GDA (Gas Dispersion Analysis), SIL(Safety Integrity Level), N & V (Noise & Vibration), ETA (Even Tree Analysis) Studies conductedas part of the Risk Engineering studies. After the equipment installed and structures builted, there are several assessment methods that can be done, it is HAZOP (Hazard and operability),QRA (Quantitative Risk Assessment), N & V (Noise & Vibration) and others. This is list ofmethodology used in Risk & Safety Engineering 1. HAZOP (Hazard and Operability)2. HAZID (Hazard Identification)3. QRA (Quantitative Risk Assessment)4. F & E (Fire & Explotion)5. GDA (Gas Dispersion Analysis)6. SIL (Safety Integrity Level)7. N & V (Noise & Vibration)8. ETA (Even Tree Analysis)
