Shell Rimula X Multigrade (CH-4) Extra High Performance Diesel Engine Oil
Rimula X Oils are high performance; dedicated heavy-duty engine lubricants designed for usein modern high-speed turbocharged diesel engines. They use exclusive additive formulationsin conjunction with highly refined base oils to deliver longer life and enhanced protectionrelative to their predecessors.
Rimula X Oils have been reformulated for severe duty service in engines specifically designedto meet Euro 3 on-highway exhaust emission standards as well as being suitable for a widerange of heavy-duty off-highway applications.
Applications
• On-Highway Heavy Duty Trucks As an integral part of the development of Rimula X,extensive testing of the product has been carried outin road haulage operations around the worldconfirming the performance of Rimula X inEuropean, American and Japanese equipment undera wide range of haulage conditions.
• Construction and MiningRimula X is recommended for most engine typesfound in construction and mining equipment. It isparticularly suitable for Caterpillar, Cummins, DetroitDiesel (4-cycle) and Komatsu engines. It isformulated to provide continuous protection even where higher sulphur fuels are used.
• Agricultural Equipment
Rimula X is ideally suited for the stop-startservice found in agricultural operation and
protects against bearing wear and depositformation even under high load low speedconditions when other oils can fail.
