Abstract

Islam is a religion of peace and harmony.

It provide a comprehensive and board based

social and political system which ensures the

rights of all the inhabitants living in society.

Besides the believers, the non-Muslims have

their religions and social rights. They have been

provided the right to freedom pertaining their

beliefs worships and the other customs of life.

The Islamic state and the Muslims are

responsible to ensure these rights. Any violation

in this regard is not only forbidden but the Holy

prophet has emphatically expressed that any

Muslim who committed to violate the legal rights

of a non-Muslim will myself responsible on the

behalf of that non-Muslim. In this article, the

right to freedom has been discussed in detail.
